Job Description (JD) – Accountant

Salary: ₹25,000 per month

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day accounting in Tally/ERP software

• Maintain accurate books of accounts including ledger entries, purchases, sales, cash, and bank transactions

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), handle GST reconciliations (GSTR-2A/2B)

• Prepare and file TDS returns as per applicable tax rates and timelines

• Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports related to sales, expenses, debtors, and creditors

• Maintain petty cash, vouchers, and daily cash & bank reconciliations

• Coordinate with vendors and customers for account reconciliations and payment follow-ups

• Support the finalization of accounts and audit preparation at year-end

• Assist senior management with tax and statutory compliance matters as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in accounting (manufacturing industry preferred)

• Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic Income Tax provisions

• Good attention to detail and ability to work in a team

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Education:

• B.Com/M.Com or equivalent qualification
