Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Purchaser with a background in agriculture or related fields. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the procurement of organic products and a solid understanding of organic certification standards and documentation. You will play a key role in sourcing high-quality organic materials, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring all procurement activities align with regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure organic raw materials and products from reliable vendors.

• Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and high-quality materials.

• Maintain and update a supplier database and purchasing records.

• Ensure that all procured organic products meet required organic certification standards (e.g., NPOP, USDA Organic, EU Organic, etc.).

• Keep up to date with organic certification changes and ensure all suppliers are compliant.

• Coordinate with quality control and warehouse teams for timely delivery and inspection.

• Track market trends and forecast procurement needs.

• Prepare and analyze purchase reports and cost analysis.

• Manage documentation for audits and certification bodies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or any related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, preferably in the organic products sector.

• In-depth knowledge of organic certification processes and documentation.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and inventory management software.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
