Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Development Engineer – Civil (Land) to manage and execute land development projects for residential and commercial real estate. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in civil infrastructure development, layout planning, site execution, and government liaison related to land and building approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute civil development activities for new and ongoing land projects
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and development schedules
Supervise on-site activities including leveling, road work, drainage, water supply, and electrical infrastructure
Coordinate with architects, contractors, surveyors, and consultants for project execution
Ensure compliance with local regulations, approvals, and statutory norms
Maintain quality control and safety standards across the site
Liaise with government authorities for land clearance, layout approvals, and NOCs
Prepare progress reports, MIS updates, and keep documentation up to date
Monitor project budgets and timelines to avoid overruns
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering
5–7 years of relevant experience in land development or infrastructure works in the real estate sector
Strong understanding of civil construction, layout development, and regulatory processes
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools
Ability to lead site teams and manage contractors/vendors
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Local knowledge of Jaipur land development and approvals is a plus
