Job Summary:
We are hiring a Quality Supervisor to ensure that our manufacturing processes and finished products meet the required quality standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in quality inspection, process improvement, and knowledge of quality tools used in the mechanical or manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-process and final inspection of products.
Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
Handle quality control instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.
Identify defects and coordinate with the production team for corrective actions.
Implement and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Support ISO or other quality system audits.
Maintain 5S and safety practices on the shop floor.
Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
2 to 3 years of experience in a quality or inspection role in a manufacturing setup.
Good understanding of mechanical drawings and tolerances.
Basic knowledge of quality tools (e.g., 7 QC tools, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA).
Strong observation and documentation skills.
Familiarity with quality systems like ISO 9001 (preferred).
Ability to work in a team and handle shop floor quality independently.
