Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Business Manager to lead and optimize operations, strategic growth, and product expansion for our export business. This role requires a strong mix of strategic planning and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate will drive profitability, improve export operations, conduct market and product research, and identify new factories and suppliers to strengthen the company’s product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Business Growth
Develop and execute business strategies aligned with company objectives
Identify growth opportunities in international markets
Monitor global trade trends, competitors, and regulatory changes
Drive revenue growth and profitability
Product Research & Development
Conduct market research to identify new export-worthy products
Analyze customer demand, industry trends, and competitor offerings
Support product feasibility studies and development initiatives
Factory Sourcing & Supplier Management
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new factories and suppliers
Negotiate pricing, quality standards, and commercial terms
Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships
Ensure cost efficiency and quality compliance
Export Documentation & Compliance
Ensure compliance with international trade laws and export regulations
Oversee preparation of export documents including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping documents
Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics partners, and customs agents
Bank Documentation & Trade Finance
Manage LC documentation, bank guarantees, export finance, and international payments
Ensure compliance with foreign exchange and banking regulations
Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions
Operations & Team Management
Improve operational efficiency across export processes
Oversee order processing, shipment timelines, and delivery schedules
Lead, mentor, and evaluate team members
Client & Sales Support
Maintain strong relationships with international clients
Support sales and marketing teams with pricing strategies and market insights
Represent the company in negotiations and trade-related discussions
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare performance and MIS reports for senior management
Use data-driven analysis to recommend process improvements and growth initiatives
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field
MBA preferred
Experience
5–7 years of experience in export or international trade management
Proven experience in business growth, product research, and supplier sourcing
Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and export documentation
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities
Working knowledge of ERP systems, CRM tools, and MS Office
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and results-focused professional
