Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 / Month
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Retention Marketer with hands-on experience in WhatsApp and Email marketing to drive customer engagement, repeat purchases, and long-term retention. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, have a strong understanding of e-commerce/D2C funnels, and be adept at building automated customer journeys to maximize Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and optimize WhatsApp and Email marketing campaigns to improve repeat purchases and engagement
Build automated customer journeys, including welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, and reactivation flows
Segment users based on behavior, RFM, and purchase history
Write persuasive copy aimed at increasing CTR, CVR, and revenue per user
Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, creatives, send times, and offers
Track performance metrics: Open Rate (OR), Click-Through Rate (CTR), Conversion Rate (CVR), Unsubscribes, and Revenue contribution
Maintain list hygiene and improve email/WhatsApp deliverability
Coordinate with design, tech, and performance marketing teams to ensure seamless execution
Use CRM tools and marketing automation platforms efficiently
Optimize the customer lifecycle to increase LTV and reduce churn
Required Qualifications & Skills
Strong hands-on experience with WhatsApp and Email marketing tools
Understanding of e-commerce/D2C funnels and retention metrics
Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze dashboards and performance metrics
Practical knowledge of automation, flows, and campaign performance optimization
Excellent copywriting and communication skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of campaigns
Preferred Experience
1–4 years of relevant experience (flexible based on hiring level)
Familiarity with popular CRM and marketing automation platforms
Experience in optimizing customer lifecycle and retention metrics
