Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with in-depth knowledge and hands-on expertise in operating and maintaining Disamatic Machines. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our manufacturing machinery. This role is based in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, and requires a professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering and a focus on foundry operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machine Operation:

   • Operate and oversee the performance of Disamatic molding machines.
   • Ensure optimal machine settings to meet production quality and efficiency standards.

2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

   • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on Disamatic machines to minimize downtime.
   • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to ensure smooth production flow.

3. Process Optimization:

   • Continuously monitor and improve machine performance to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
   • Implement process improvements and collaborate with the production team for enhanced output.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and operational data.
   • Prepare daily/weekly reports on machine performance and maintenance activities.

5. Safety and Compliance:

   • Ensure all operations comply with safety standards and guidelines.
   • Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to company policies.

6. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with the production and quality control teams to meet manufacturing targets.
   • Train and guide operators on the proper use and care of machinery.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Disamatic machines in a manufacturing or foundry environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Disamatic machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
