Job Description:

We are urgently looking for a Lab Chemist to join our reputed foundry team in Bhilai. The candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing materials, and ensuring product quality. Fresh graduates with a background in biology are encouraged to apply and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Laboratory Analysis:

   • Conduct chemical and biological tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
   • Analyze and document test results to ensure compliance with quality standards.

2. Sample Preparation:

   • Collect, label, and prepare samples for testing as per company procedures.
   • Maintain accurate and organized records of all laboratory activities.

3. Quality Control:

   • Monitor and maintain the quality of materials used and produced in the foundry.
   • Report any deviations in quality to the supervisor and assist in corrective actions.

4. Equipment Operation:

   • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
   • Perform regular calibrations and ensure equipment is in good working condition.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Prepare and maintain detailed test reports for review.
   • Ensure proper record-keeping of all laboratory activities and findings.

6. Compliance and Safety:

   • Follow all safety protocols while handling chemicals and biological materials.
   • Ensure the laboratory environment complies with health and safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biology.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in laboratory work (freshers are encouraged to apply).
• Basic knowledge of chemical and biological testing procedures.
• Good attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
