Location: Kolkata, West Bengal
Experience Level: Fresher or Experienced

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Documentation: Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, petitions, and affidavits.
2. Legal Research: Conduct in-depth research on case laws, statutes, and regulations to support legal strategies.
3. Litigation Support: Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and arbitrations. Prepare case briefs, arguments, and evidence.
4. Client Interaction: Provide legal advice, counsel clients, and maintain a strong professional relationship.
5. Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, offering proactive solutions to minimize risks.
6. Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, external counsels, and regulatory authorities to resolve legal matters effectively.
7. Case Management: Maintain case files and update records in a systematic and timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
• Enrollment with the Bar Council of India (BCI) and eligible to practice law.

Skills Required:

1. For Freshers:

   • Strong understanding of Indian legal systems and procedural laws.
   • Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
   • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

2. For Experienced Candidates:

   • Proven experience in handling litigation or corporate legal matters.
   • Expertise in drafting legal documents and representing clients in court.
   • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
