Full job description
As a SEO Specialist, you will be part of our in-house team responsible for improving the search engine visibility and driving organic website traffic. With 3 years of experience in SEO, you will be expected to contribute to both on-page and off-page SEO activities, keyword research, content optimization, and continuous performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Page SEO Optimization:
•
Conduct comprehensive website audits to pinpoint areas for SEO improvement.
•
Optimize web pages by refining meta tags, header tags, URL structures, and content for target keywords.
•
Implement effective internal linking strategies for enhanced user experience and SEO performance.
•
Ensure website content is aligned with best SEO practices for both desktop and mobile versions.
Off-Page SEO:
•
Create and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks.
•
Develop outreach campaigns to secure guest posts and backlink opportunities from authoritative sites.
•
Monitor and manage backlinks to ensure their quality and relevance.
Content Strategy & Development:
•
Collaborate with content creators to develop keyword-optimized blog posts, articles, and landing pages.
•
Analyze user intent and recommend content topics to improve site traffic and engagement.
•
Ensure that content follows SEO best practices and targets high-volume, relevant keywords.
SEO Analytics & Reporting:
•
Regularly track and measure SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
•
Generate reports highlighting key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, rankings, click-through rates, and bounce rates.
•
Use data insights to optimize SEO strategies and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
Technical SEO:
•
Work with the development team to identify and fix technical SEO issues (e.g., site speed, mobile optimization, crawl errors).
•
Implement structured data (Schema Markup) to enhance search engine understanding of website content.
•
Monitor indexing issues and ensure pages are properly indexed by search engines.
Competitor & Industry Analysis:
•
Perform regular competitor analysis to identify trends and SEO strategies in the industry.
•
Stay updated with the latest SEO techniques, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
Collaboration & Communication:
•
Collaborate closely with other digital marketing teams, including social media, PPC, and web development.
•
Provide SEO insights and recommendations for client meetings, discussions, and strategy sessions.
•
Communicate SEO strategies clearly and effectively to internal teams and clients.
Capability to Handle Multiple SEO Projects Single-Handedly
•
Manage end-to-end SEO strategies for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each aligns with client goals and timelines.
•
Conduct detailed website audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis for each project.
•
Prioritize tasks across projects effectively, maintaining high-quality deliverables within tight deadlines.
•
Continuously optimize workflows and strategies to enhance the performance of multiple SEO campaigns simultaneously.
•
Stay organized and ensure no compromise in quality while juggling various tasks across different projects.
Key Skills & Requirements:
•
Experience: 3 years of hands-on Agency based SEO experience is must, including expertise in on-page and off-page SEO, keyword research, and content optimization.
•
SEO Tools: Proficient in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
•
Content Optimization: Strong ability to work with content teams to optimize text for SEO purposes.
•
Technical Skills: Understanding of HTML, CSS, and familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
•
Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven SEO recommendations.
•
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex SEO concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•
Problem-Solving: Capable of identifying SEO issues and implementing corrective actions effectively.
•
Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail in content and technical SEO optimization.
•
Certifications: Google Analytics, SEMrush, or any other SEO-related certifications are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields.
•
Previous experience working in a fast-paced digital marketing agency is a must
